FRSHRZ.com ("FRSHRZ", "we", "us") operates an opportunity-distribution and placement platform that connects colleges, employers, and students. FRSHRZ acts strictly as a facilitator between these parties — not as an employer, staffing agency, or agent of any college or company — and this policy explains how we handle the personal data of everyone who signs up: students/candidates, campus placement teams (Colleges/TPOs), HR and corporate recruiters, and placement partners.
Every college that joins FRSHRZ signs a Letter of Engagement (LOE) with us, and that LOE contains binding data-protection and confidentiality commitments. This policy reflects those same commitments, applied platform-wide — to campuses, students, corporate recruiters, and placement partners alike.
FRSHRZ onboards four kinds of users. What we collect from each, and why, is different — here's the overview before the detail below.
Profile, academic & contact details, resume — used solely to match and apply you to opportunities.
SPOC contact details, institutional info, and the roster of students placed through your college.
Recruiter contact details and the hiring requirements you submit, so we can source and route candidates.
Contact and payout details, and the candidates you refer, so we can track and pay your referral commission.
To register, you must belong to a college that has an active, signed engagement with FRSHRZ — we don't accept open public signups. We collect:
Your profile is built once and reused for one-click applications, so you don't refill a form for every job. Your academic details are used to check eligibility against each opportunity's requirements. Your application data is shared with your college's placement team (for approvals, where required) and with the employer you apply to, strictly for hiring purposes.
Your placement cell (TPO) at your own college can see applicants from your own college only. Employers you apply to receive your application and relevant profile details. FRSHRZ admin can see platform-wide data to operate and report on the service. Your data is never sold, and it is never shared with a college other than your own.
When a college onboards with FRSHRZ, we collect details about the institution and its placement point of contact (SPOC):
This lets us verify your college's eligibility to distribute opportunities to your students, gate student signups to your own campus, and give your placement cell a scoped dashboard — one that only ever shows applicants and outcomes from your own institution, exportable for your own NAAC/NBA and internal reporting.
FRSHRZ admin, for platform operation and billing under your LOE. Your college's own data is never shown to another college, and student data on your dashboard is limited to your own students only.
When a company or recruiter submits a hiring requirement to FRSHRZ, we collect:
To route your requirement to eligible students at partner colleges, format it into FRSHRZ's standard opportunity brief, and connect you with candidates who apply. There is no fee for a company to submit a hiring requirement to FRSHRZ.
Your company/role details are shown to eligible students the way you've asked us to present them (openly, or with identity revealed only after nomination/shortlisting, if you've requested that). FRSHRZ admin has full visibility for platform operation.
Placement Partners are referral affiliates who source candidates for opportunities on FRSHRZ in exchange for a referral payout. We collect:
To verify your referrals, calculate your payout when a referred candidate is placed, and pay you. Payout and bank details are used strictly for this purpose and are not shared beyond what's needed to process payment.
We share personal data only as needed to deliver the service, and never sell it. In practice, that means:
Binding commitment: Students and candidates are never charged any fee, at any stage of the process, by FRSHRZ or by any party involved — for registration, applications, interviews, or placement. This is a contractual term FRSHRZ holds with every partner college, and it applies platform-wide, without exception.
FRSHRZ may occasionally publicise successful placements — for example, on our website's Hall of Fame or in marketing materials — which can include a candidate's name, photo, course, and testimonial, and a partner college's name and logo. We only do this with the relevant person's or college's consent, and role/college attribution can be shown or omitted per entry on request. If you'd prefer not to be featured, or want an existing feature removed, contact us using the details below.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — consistent with applicable Indian data protection laws — to protect the personal data we hold, including secure password storage, access controls limiting who can see what data, and encrypted transmission of sensitive information. No system is perfectly secure, and we continue to invest in these protections as the platform grows.
We retain personal data for as long as it's needed to provide the service and meet our legal/contractual obligations (including confidentiality periods under college LOEs), and delete or anonymise it thereafter unless a longer retention period is required by law.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or ask questions about how it's used, at any time using the contact details below. Certain data — such as records needed for placement/billing accuracy or legal compliance — may need to be retained even after a deletion request, and we'll tell you if that applies to your request.
This policy may be updated from time to time as FRSHRZ's practices evolve. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date above.
